Our Commitment to Child Safety
At Children’s Rights Queensland (CRQ), we are dedicated to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and empowerment of all children. Guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, we champion and educate the community about every child’s right to protection, respect, and a voice.
We are dedicated to fostering inclusive and culturally safe environments, with particular care for First Nations children, children with disabilities, and those from diverse backgrounds. We are committed to upholding the ten National principles for Child Safe Organisations.
With zero tolerance for child abuse, we ensure all concerns are taken seriously, reported promptly, and addressed effectively. Our team, including leaders, volunteers, and contractors uphold robust policies, undertake training, and prioritise listening to children to ensure their safety and empowerment.
