Our Organisation
The Children’s Rights Alliance (trading as Children’s Rights Queensland) is dedicated to educating and raising awareness of children’s rights as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC). For over fifty years, we have worked alongside children, families, and communities to build understanding, embed children’s rights in practice, and amplify children’s voices through education, engagement, and innovative initiatives. Our organisation is led by a team of passionate volunteers who play an active role in both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations.
Educating Children, Families and Communities
Our Vision: Widespread awareness and education of children’s rights.
Our Mission: To educate communities and raise awareness of children’s rights as stated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) through a range of initiatives.
Children’s Rights Queensland is the trading name of the Children’s Rights Alliance Inc., an incorporated association and Registered Australian Body, enabling us to operate nationally across Australia. As part of our work, we operate the Children’s Rights Shop, a social enterprise that generates income to support our mission of advancing children’s rights through education, promotion, and community engagement.
