Child Safety

Children’s Rights Queensland is committed to protecting every child’s right to be safe, as enshrined in the UNCRC.

Children’s Rights Queensland is committed to creating safe, supportive environments where every child feels protected, respected and heard. Our work is guided by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), which outlines every child’s right to safety and protection from harm. We take this responsibility seriously and embed it in everything we do.

To support this, we have a range of policies and commitments, including our Child Safety and Wellbeing Policy, Statement of Commitment to Child Safety, and Charter of Commitment for Children and Young People. These documents set clear expectations and help ensure we maintain a culture of safety. We also share tools and resources to help other organisations strengthen their own child-safe practices. Keeping children safe is our priority.
