This year will be the third year running a fun and free community event for children and families of the community to celebrate with us at QCWA Ravenshoe Branch. Each year we invite a local emergency service to join us. Last year we had the fire brigade and the year before that, the ambulance. This year we're excited to invite the local police to come along and connect with the kids in a friendly and relaxed setting. We'll have fun games such as egg on spoon races, paint a pet rock, sausage sizzles, story corner with Nan, arts and crafts and face painting, bubbles and so much more. We also plan to approach the local high school to see if any students would like to help with face painting, running games, or assisting during this event.
