Queensland Children's Week
Children’s Week is a national celebration held annually across Australia, aimed at raising awareness and educating the community about the rights of children, as outlined in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Each year, a vibrant and diverse range of events and activities takes place at national, state, and local levels.
This year, hundreds of events are being held across Queensland to mark the occasion. Explore what’s happening below and join the celebration!
2026 Children's Week Theme
The Children’s Week National Theme for 2025 is based on UNCRC Article 30: Children have the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practise their religion
