Volunteering With Us

Volunteering with us offers a meaningful opportunity to educate communities and build awareness of children’s rights across Queensland. Our volunteers support rights-based education, community engagement and events that amplify children’s voices. By volunteering with us, you’ll be part of a passionate, values-driven team.

Volunteer Roles

We are currently seeking volunteers for the roles listed below:

Marketing & Communications Lead

Leads strategic communications to increase awareness, engagement, and impact of CRQ’s work. Oversees content and digital channels that promote children’s rights and organisational initiatives. Click here to view the Position Description.

Youth Advisor

Provides a young person’s perspective to inform CRQ programs, events, and Children’s Week activities. Supports youth engagement and ensures young voices are heard and valued. Click here to view the Position Description.

 

Children’s Rights Queensland is the trading name of the Children’s Rights Alliance Inc., an incorporated association and Registered Australian Body, enabling us to operate nationally across Australia. As part of our work, we operate the Children’s Rights Shop, a social enterprise that generates income to support our mission of advancing children’s rights through education, promotion, and community engagement.
